Doctoral Research Assistant

Yarden Avnor (she/her) is a doctoral research assistant for the Social Policy Institute, Israel and a Clinical Neuropsychology Ph.D. student at the University of Haifa, Israel. In her doctoral research, she explores the impact of toxic stress and adverse childhood experiences on brain activity, examining the subsequent influence these factors have on inter-brain synchrony levels.

At SPI, Ms. Avnor is engaged in projects examining the influence of COVID-19 on Israeli households, mapping intergenerational mobility within the country, and fostering valuable cross-sector and international collaborations.
