Evelyn Mei (she/her) is a Data Analyst III at the Social Policy Institute. Evelyn earned her M.S. in Business Analytics from Washington University in St. Louis with concentrations in data analysis. She majored in Management Information Systems (B.Mgt. from East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai, China) before her graduate study. She is interested in using data analysis to address urgent social challenges. She worked in a non-profit organization to research discrimination and marginalization of Mexican indigenous populations. In her current position, she primarily concentrates on the collection, refinement, and analysis of extensive datasets, aiming to inform and enhance the process of social policymaking.
In her free time, Evelyn enjoys DIY, playing badminton, swimming, and playing the Ukulele.
