Social Impact Nudgeathon: Israel

Research Agenda

The Joint Distribution Committee in Israel (JDC-Israel) is collaborating with SPI to enhance the performance and outcomes of its social service programs by applying the concepts and tools of behavioral economics. Since 2018, researchers from Israel and the U.S. have been involved in designing, implementing, and analyzing behavioral interventions across several research topics, including financial security of low-income households, educational program completion, children’s oral health, employment of individuals with disabilities and the unemployed, and provision of homecare services to the elderly.
