Doctoral Research Assistant
Yingying Zeng is a Research Assistant at Social Policy Institute, where she works with the Workforce Financial Stability Initiative team on employee financial well-being. She is a third-year social work doctoral student at the Brown School, and holds an M.S.W. from Fudan University in China and an M.S.P. from Washington University in St. Louis. During her 2015–2017 practicum, she worked with a refugee program creating Individual Development Accounts to help refugees build financial stability, and served as a social service provider for Chinese older immigrants. Her doctoral research is focusing on financial capability, asset building, and financial well-being of immigrant populations. She enjoys exercising, cooking, and exploring the world with her camera.
