Program Coordinator

Jenrose Fitzgerald (she/they) is a program coordinator for the education and training initiatives at the Social Policy Institute. She brings experience in program management, community engagement, cross-disciplinary collaboration, participatory research, digital storytelling, and impact assessment. Before joining SPI, she worked as Grant Program Manager for the Kentucky Foundation for Women and Programs Associate for the University of Kentucky Appalachian Center. She earned a PhD in Science and Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and also holds degrees in Sociology, Comparative Studies, and Women’s Studies. Her interests include sociology of science and medicine, gender and race disparities in STEM fields, equitable economic development, and environmental justice.
