Ashley Yang

Research Assistant

Ashley Yang (she/her/hers) is a Graduate Research Assistant for the Social Policy Institute working on the Data Science for Social Impact initiative. She has a Bachelor of Medicine degree in China and is currently pursuing the Master of Public Health and Master of Business Administration joint degree at Washington University in St. Louis and focusing on Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Her interests include health economics, health equity, data analysis and visualization, and the transdisciplinary application of business models on the healthcare industry. During her MBA study, she engaged in several consulting projects to serve healthcare entrepreneurs on market research and competitive analysis. Ashley enjoys the time with friends and families, and always loves to try new foods and hiking sites.
