Research Agenda
The Job Quality and Managerial Practices research agenda examines how employers can redesign jobs and employment practices to improve the financial stability of their frontline workers. Job quality factors of interest include expanding opportunities for career advancement and skill growth, mandatory overtime practices, scheduling stability/predictability, and increasing opportunities for wage growth. WFSI is particularly interested in examining the nature and impact of job quality practices across retail, warehousing, and caregiving sectors.
