SPI’s Housing Initiatives include evaluations of both place-based and mobility-focused housing interventions executed by local and national non-profit organizations. To examine place-based housing interventions, SPI researchers are analyzing extensive data from Urban Strategies Inc., a provider of community development, neighborhood revitalization, and case management services to families across the country. In their analysis of mobility-focused housing interventions, SPI researchers are working with Ascend, STL, a local organization that works with the St. Louis Housing Authority to increase housing selections for households that receive Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8).
